LIMITED HOT TUB WARRANTY
WHAT WE COVER
This warranty covers manufacturer defects only. All warranty service requests must be submitted via email. Lifetime Warranty (meaning 25 years) only applies to the stainless-steel frame. iLovehottubs’ warranty provides coverage solely to the original retail purchaser of the spa. Other specific components have separate warranties as detailed below.
The Limited Warranty covers the whole product, but it's important to keep in mind that not everything is covered. Some things are specifically excluded, and there are also some conditions that must be met.
When warranty service is requested, we require proof of purchase prior to any service work being conducted.
We do not connect your hot tub's wiring or conduct any electrical work whatsoever. As with all electrical projects, you must follow local codes and consult with a LICENSE ELECTRICAN for installation of your new hot tub. The National Electrical Code (NEC) specifies that the proper installation of a hot tub requires it to be hard-wired into a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)-protected 220 to 240V, 50- or 60-amp dedicated circuit. A licensed electrician is required for the installation of your new hot tub in order to receive all of the benefits associated with this warranty. In the event a warranty service request relates to electrical installation, we will require a copy of your electrician’s valid license prior to any work being conducted. Failure to provide the electrician’s license will result in your warranty request being denied. Upon verifying proof of purchase, you, the spa owner, need to arrange to give the repairman access to the spa to get the work done.
If the spa needs to be taken to a repair facility, you will be responsible for the costs of carrying out several steps: removing the afflicted spa; transporting the replacement spa from the factory; and delivering and installing the replacement at your home. You will also be responsible for all the costs associated with these steps. Meanwhile, the replacement spa, when installed, will carry the remainder of the original spa's warranty.
iLovehottubs ensures the original consumer purchaser that from the day of installation, the following will be available to you and fully functional in the event of any malfunction: parts, plumbing, equipment, electrical circuitry, and the shell structure.
25 YEARS-SPA STRUCTURE
The spa's stainless-steel frame is covered by a twenty-five-year warranty. iLovehottubs guarantees defects in material or workmanship in the spa frame. If such a defect does occur within twenty-five years of the original purchase date, iLovehottubs will fix it—covering the part necessary for the repair.
5 YEARS-SURFACE
We warrant the acrylic surface for five years. This means that if the surface blisters or cracks within five years of the hot tub installation, iLovehottubs will replace the acrylic. Please note if the hot tub is left uncovered or exposed for long periods of time the acrylic will suffer damage and this part of your warranty will be void. Additionally, this warranty does not include any fading or discoloration to your hot tub at any time. We will use several techniques to determine if the warranty request is a manufacturer defect as opposed to user error or neglect in which case your warranty will be void. It is never our intension to deny any warranty request, however the company, at its sole discretion, will determine if the warranty request is approved.
3 YEARS-PLUMBING
Our iLovehottubs spas are covered by a 3-year plumbing warranty. This means that for the first year, we'll fix or replace any plumbing parts or components necessary to fix any leaks arising from defective parts and after year 1, we will send you the necessary replacement part to fix your plumbing issue. However, this warranty does not cover the gaskets or seals on the plumbing system.
2 YEARS -PUMPS, CONTROL PANELS & MORE
The electrical components, pumps, control panels, jets air valves, levers, bezels, and other parts found in iLovehottubs spas are promised to be free of defects in both materials and workmanship for two years after the purchase date. There are a few parts—mostly easily swapped out with no need for tools—that are not included in this two-year warranty. These parts include filter cartridges, the filter lid, spa pillows, and cover locks, which are free of defects in both materials and workmanship when the spa is delivered to you. The warranty for any of these parts, however, is expressly voided if you improperly install the part (that is, using the wrong screw or sealant, for instance), if you neglect to perform regular maintenance on the part (particularly for anything related to water balance or pH upkeep), or if a non-authorized iLovehottubs technician conducts any work whatsoever on your new spa.
3 YEARS PARTS, 1 YEAR LABOR-HEATER WARRANTY
We take responsibility for any materials and workmanship defects in the heater. Yet, certain points should be kept in mind: our heater warranty doesn't include service for commercial or industrial use spas, or for spas that were improperly installed for any reason whatsoever. Any structural changes to the spa voids any and all warranty offered by iLovehottubs.
2 YEARS-CABINET WARRANTY
Your iLovehottubs spa's cabinet is warranted for a period of 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies to the structural integrity of the cabinet, including its assembly. However, it does not cover surface scratches, chips, stains, fading, discoloration or wear and tear. Please note that your side panels to your hot tub must be properly attached at all times or your warranty request may be denied.
EVERYTHING ELSE
Any part that is not specifically mentioned in this warranty is guaranteed to work at time of installation and is not covered by any further warranty offered by iLovehottubs. This includes but not limited to the Ozonator, all lights, valves, spa cover, WIFI module, speakers, jets, ventilation screens in-line sanitation system, fuses, filters, filter lids, headrests (and pillows), and chemical cartridge holders.
LABOR WARRANTY
Labor required to fulfill any requested warranty service will be covered for one year from the date of installation. After the one-year labor warranty has expired, we will send you the necessary parts based on the detailed part warranty terms listed above, following a remote diagnostic conducted by an ilovehottubs technician.
Please be aware that whenever an ilovehottubs technician is required at your home, a flat rate charge of $100 will be assessed, regardless of the issue. This fee must be paid 48 hours prior to your service technician appointment, no exceptions, or you agree that your appointment is to be cancelled and you may reschedule at a later date.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Upon delivery of your iLovehottubs, you acknowledge that iLovehottubs and its delivery team, whether third-party or in-house, are not liable for any damages, injuries, or death resulting from improper delivery, installation, use, or maintenance of the hot tub. Acceptance of delivery constitutes agreement to these terms and releases iLovehottubs and its delivery team from all related liabilities.
WARRANTY PERFORMANCE
iLovehottubs or its authorized agent will repair or replace any malfunctioning or defective component on the iLovehottubs Spa that is covered under the terms of this limited warranty and was purchased from an authorized iLovehottubs dealer.
In doing so, iLovehottubs reserves the right, at its sole option, to either repair or replace the defective spa or component.
If iLovehottubs determines that the repair of the defect is not feasible, we reserve the right to instead provide a replacement spa or component equal in value to the original purchase price of the defective spa or value of the component. In such an event, costs for removal of the defective product, shipping costs of the replacement product, and delivery will be the responsibility of the owner. iLovehottubs reserves the right to use either new or reconditioned replacement components. Any repair or replacement shall provide no new warranty coverage but shall retain only the remaining portion of the original product’s warranty.
To obtain warranty service, contact your authorized iLovehottubs dealer or iLovehottubs and ensure you have a copy of your invoice (proof of purchase) and a copy of your electricians’ license (if necessary). If the entire spa is sent to the factory for repair, all costs of removing and reinstalling the spa at the spa owner’s location will be the responsibility of the spa owner. Repair or replacement, as described above, shall be iLovehottubs’ sole liability for any breach of this limited warranty.
EXCLUSIONS of WARRANTY
The limited warranty of this iLovehottubs Spa becomes invalid if any of the below-stated events occur:
❶Over time, people have changed, neglected, used inappropriately, or harmed the spa.
❷If anyone other than an authorized iLovehottubs representative tries to repair it, the hot tub is compromised.
❸The hot tub has been used in a non-residential setting or in a situation that it was not intended for.
❹iLovehottubs cannot be held responsible for any damage that results from an event considered to be "Act of God" or any other reason that's beyond our control.
❺Adding or using any unapproved mechanical or electrical component or chemical substance causes harm. Further, the use of salt in your ilovehottubs hot tub is not allowed, as it causes corrosion and damage to the plumbing and other components.
❻Shipping, moving, handling, installation, or hook-up by anyone other than a licensed technician can cause severe damage to your unit. Extra care is needed when transferring the spa from the truck to the installation site. If you do not have a forklift on site, you will need at least three people to safely handle the spa. Make sure all four corners of the spa are kept level throughout the entire process. Spa panels can crack. The cabinet and structure support the weight of the spa when it is full of water.
❼When the spa is not covered with water and it is directly exposed to the sun's heat, it will cause problems with the spa shell. Excessive heat can lead to damage when it is trapped inside the spa instead of being allowed to flow out with the air. Every effort must be made to keep the spa covered,
with a suitable cover when not in use and to seek shade wherever possible. If the spa is likely to be in direct sunlight for an extended period, it may be best to empty it of water altogether and ensure your spa is covered, avoiding sunlight that will cause extensive damage to your spa.
❽Using the spa in water temperatures below 32°F (0°C) or above 120°F (49°C) will cause damage.
❾Spa water chemistry that is not maintained properly or the act of letting undissolved chemicals sit on the surface of the spa can cause damage.
❿Not following the installation, maintenance, and operation instructions in the iLovehottubs Owner's Manual will lead to damage.
LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTIES
The Limited Warranty Becomes Invalid Under Any of the Following Conditions: If the Manufacturer/Distributor or Its Representative Determines That the Hot Tub Has Been Altered, Neglected, or Used Improperly; If It Has Been Abused from Freight Damage Caused by the Common Carrier; If Any Repairs Have Been Attempted by Other Than a Designated Representative; or If It Has Failed as a Result of Accident, Act of God, or Other Causes Beyond the Manufacturer's Control.
Disregard, Misapply, or Mistreat All Encompass Any Instance in Which the Spa Is Used, Operated, or Serviced Contrary to the Clear Instructions Given in the Spa's Owner's Manual. This Opens the Floodgates to a Variety of Problems. Some Stem from Poor Water Chemistry and Chemical Balance. Others Arise from the Use of Abrasive or Improper Cleaners and the Deployment of Non-Genuine Parts and Accessories.
Any Attached or Installed Items, and Components That Need Repair or Replacement Are Not Covered by This Warranty.
If Anyone Other Than the Manufacturer or a Designated iLovehottubs Representative Does Repair Work on Your Spa, You, the Spa Owner, Are Responsible for All Payments. Furthermore, the Warranty on Your Spa Is Void, and You Acknowledge That the Company Is Not Liable for Any Claims Arising from the Use of the Repair Work Completed by These Other Individuals or Companies. This Limited Warranty Supersedes All Other Warranties, Expressed or Implied, in Fact or in Law. Any Warranty Service That Is Needed Must Be Performed by iLovehottubs Authorized Personnel. None of the Authorized Representatives—Including the Dealer, Distributor, Service Company, or Any Other Party—Are Allowed to Make Any Alterations, Adjustments, or Improvements to the Wording of This Limited Warranty.
DISCLAIMERS
NEITHER ILOVEHOTTUBS NOR ITS AUTHORIZED AGENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, COSTS, OR OTHER DAMAGES THAT MAY RESULT FROM ANY DEFECT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SUCH DEFECTS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CIRCUMSTANCES THAT RENDER THE SPA UNUSABLE AND REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. EVEN IF ILOVEHOTTUBS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY, THE LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. ILOVEHOTTUBS CANNOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE HELD LIABLE TO EITHER YOU OR AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY ILOVEHOTTUBS OR ITS AUTHORIZED AGENTS. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT A DEFECT IS COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT ILOVEHOTTUBS CAN BE REQUIRED TO PAY CANNOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
THIS WARRANTY IS SPECIFIC TO NEVADA LAW. HOWEVER, IF YOU DON'T LIVE IN NEVADA, YOUR STATE'S LAWS MAY APPLY INSTEAD. NONETHELESS, THE ACT OF CONGRESS, AND THE REMEDIES IT PROVIDES, AUTOMATICALLY APPLY TO YOU EVEN IF YOUR STATE HAS ITS OWN VERSION OF THE LAW. THE ACTS OF CONGRESS AND THE CORRESPONDING REMEDIES, MORE THAN LIKELY PROVIDE A HIGHER LEVEL OF PROTECTION THAN YOU'D HAVE IF THEY WEREN'T THERE. THIS HIGHER LEVEL OF PROTECTION COULD BE APPLICABLE ON ACCOUNT OF CALIFORNIA LAW.
LEGAL RIGHTS
You have the right to a specific set of laws under this Limited Warranty. You might also have other rights—depending on the state you live in—that are affected by this set of laws in different ways. The laws of some states don't allow for a time limit on how long an implied warranty might last. If you live in one of those states, you might be affected by that law instead of this Limited Warranty when seeking a remedy for a defect.
